At the utility room and bathroom, instead of glass blocks, one can also plan a beautiful elongated Satinato glass. It looks good and brings light into the hallway. I have seen something like this multiple times on Houzz and personally like it very much.

No, the new frosted ones are really classy... look better than your illuminated display cabinets in the kitchen

For light, there are also windows in interior walls, light strips, skylights, shed roofs, roof windows, flat roof windows, light wells, mirrors and... air spaces

Tsk tsk tsk
What do the new ones look like? I don’t think I know them.

It is not a must-have, however, of all the staircases we have admired so far, we always found the straight ones the most beautiful. What idea would you have about it?

I will try that, the disadvantage would then be that on the left side of the staircase there would again be a tall wall going up (claustrophobic).

I don’t understand that, what exactly do you mean?

Correct

Would that be an argument for having only 2 children’s rooms?

And again 2 questions in advance:

First a draft with storage space and an approximately sensible room layout, with “keeping in mind” the fireplace and open gable... both are considered bei the planning.

I don't quite understand that either.
