The LP and heating engineer are not cooperating. A functioning ERR must exist at acceptance. Instead of investing here in a smart/radio system, I take the standard from the LP and only want to put the appearance of the room thermostats into a switch program.

Would it actually make sense or improve efficiency to use continuous 0-10 thermostats instead of two-point ones?

No, because the valves underneath are already set to the required amounts (should be). So open = open and closed = closed, and it is intended that way, and the intermediate steps bring absolutely nothing.

If you absolutely want something smart, then educate yourself about blossom ic. It performs a dynamic hydraulic balancing. But I don't know if it still ensures a high flow rate for the [Wärmepumpe]. When in doubt, better to go without any room control and with static thermal balancing.

Somehow I keep going in circles -.-

It's not about smart features... primarily it's due to the appearance, and I wonder whether most builders are satisfied with the standard (mandatory) ERR installation and the associated room controller on the wall (in terms of appearance).

The wired wall thermostats that look reasonably good are

Homematic IP wall thermostat with switching output 230V or 24V
Bosch Smart Home room thermostat 230 V

Both are SMART (hence probably the high price of ~ 80 EUR), which I do not use, however.

With 7 heating circuits, additional costs of 560 EUR for the appearance

Alternatively, with the option to place the wireless wall thermostat freely in the room or completely remove it when ERR is deactivated for about ~ 100 EUR more

Perhaps the builders are not currently bothered by this and I am making pointless considerations here.

Then just buy it? Apparently, no better tip came up in 12 pages. I could rant for days about the regular ugliness of German installations, whether it’s the thermostats or heating controls in general. With switch batteries with 6- or 8-frame vertical layouts, it continues. But apparently, no one is bothered enough by that to spend money just on it. The main thing is that the kitchen for 20-30,000 euros comes in high gloss.
