So where you are probably very mistaken is the noise that will reach Leo's room. The 2 to 3 meters are not enough to dampen the unrestrained sound from the open space (there isn't even a door there) if you don't install a padded door in his room. Then there's all the traffic right outside his door. Your bedroom is much quieter.

Before you continue fiddling with this thing, take a look at Danwood and others to see if you like a floor plan. This way you can get out of your tunnel vision and allow for more new ideas.

That’s what I was about to suggest. Have you already looked at the standard floor plans of the different house building companies?

Of course, we searched the internet for floor plans at the beginning, but one of us always had something to complain about. At some point, we then gathered our ideas and tried to put them on paper.

... to do what?

Something like that is adaptable. Paper is patient.

You prevent that through the building structure.

You can also change them in small details.
Danwood would also be my choice. Scanhaus Marlow Marlow meanwhile also has nice floor plans.
Moving or omitting one or two walls offers new rooms.
Useless corridors could be used to install wardrobes there. A 3-meter-long corridor therefore uses less space than your dressing room.

to get into his room

That is why I am here, among other reasons. Of course, we will discuss everything with the architect, but the input from the forum definitely helps with coming up with ideas.

you mean stronger insulated walls and soundproofer doors?

Yes, of course, but maybe we lack the eye for that. I have not seen a floor plan where only minor details caught my attention. Except for our own, but that of course can be subjective.

Here is another version for brainstorming. Living room open under the roof.
