Try to somehow avoid that the children's room shares a wall with the kitchen unit. I had that in my childhood room. At the latest during my teenage years, it was a disaster when my father (an early riser) started the coffee machine at 7 a.m. on weekends and arranged the plates on the granite countertop. I sat bolt upright in bed every time!

Not bad, Mrs. Specht. Also inexpensive to build. With a tent roof.

Some savings potential would be to simply extend the wall diagonally instead of the inner corner and install a large door-window element there; outside, there would then only be a solo seating area. You have to see what that brings in terms of price. Then, for the windows, pay attention to a uniform standard size of around 100 cm wall gap, which would later allow for standard pleated blinds from Ikea or Danish Bettenlager. Otherwise, this is the best idea in this topic so far. K.

What would bother me about this floor plan is that the dining table is too far away from the windows in the "dark corner" of the common room. In my opinion, a dining/kitchen table should be placed close to a window to always have as much natural light as possible.

Something like this:

Still too many? Actually, I only planned a small extra corridor for Leo. The rest is as usual. But I have no idea what the square meters add up to. It would be good if the OP could state the external dimensions of his design.
