Should the technology of the house also be stored in the 5.1 sqm utility room (next to the washing machine + dryer)?

It won't just be cozy and cramped, some plumber will kill someone!

Hello everyone,
first of all, thank you very much!

:
Which floor plan do you mean? The comparable Danwood Perfect 109 has a children's room with 10.5 sqm. That is absolutely out of the question; I would not do that to my child! Apart from the fact that I don't like open-plan kitchens, the bathroom is only 6 sqm and a walk-in shower without a glass door is not possible there. The utility room is even smaller (4.9 sqm).

Which floor plan exactly do you mean?

@toxiolotow:
I agree with you, the utility room is small. But Town & Country builds a lot of houses per year with exactly such small rooms. Danwood does too, by the way. I think if the installers coordinate beforehand and possibly use a combined unit for the heating system, that's more than enough! Everything I've seen so far was mounted carelessly....

What do you think: Should the planner already include everything in the drawing? That way, for example, the location of the multi-utility entry and the door can be optimally determined beforehand.

Best regards,
Afralea.

Ashes on my head..., of course, that's not acceptable... Joking aside: for me, there are ideas hidden here that Town & Country does not offer at all. A kitchen can be closed off with a door, you can move walls, build walls, keep bathrooms large and corridors small. You can build effectively. For example, the Perfect 111 shows how to avoid a large corridor or use it as a stylish and practical storage area. Here, too, zoning is shown: sleeping area/living area. Especially in a small bungalow, it is not advisable to scatter the bedrooms so that you have to walk through the house to get to the bathroom. You also have to accommodate visitors and illness or parents and teenage visitors under one roof. Dismantling always means a lot of corridor space, which with just one meter width offers neither comfort nor space for furniture. Walls on the left and right that are confining. You cannot look at the pictures on the wall from a distance and they get knocked off or moved the next time you vacuum.

Floor plans are suggestions. It would never occur to me not to copy a floor plan ten times and try out numerous changes with a pencil or to see a standard house floor plan as set, just as it is.

Does Town & Country offer free choice of floor plans?

Hello ypg,
yes, Town & Country offers a floor plan change. In the Winkelbungalow 108, all interior walls are non-load-bearing, so it is not a problem. The costs are manageable (about €500).

By the way, the side arms of the hallway are 1.26m wide.

We have already looked through dozens of floor plans (Heinz von Heiden, Renschhaus, Kampa, Scanhaus Marlow Marlow, DasHaus, Bien Zenker, ...) and unfortunately haven’t found anything better.

Actually, we are almost at our goal. If necessary, I can live with the bathroom as it is. But in return, we have many things in other areas that we like very much.

Best regards, Afralea.

By the way, we really like the spatial separation of the children's room and the bedroom! When the daughter is older later, we don't mind if she wants to shower after the disco...

In old age, by the way, the children's room becomes the bedroom. Then the way to the bathroom is not far. But as long as possible, it will probably stay in the North for now.
