Because of the angle, no sun reaches there, so you always need lamps. Or actually daylight spots in the ceiling.

I keep noticing that the men who call their wife boss are the ones who are bothered by open kitchens because the boss is either working too loudly there, constantly working, or apparently doing smelly things while he (the man) is watching TV or listening to music.

I told you, there is potential for development towards quiet, odor-free work. What else should the man do or what should he do in the kitchen? I was away for a while... has something changed in my beautiful life that I haven't noticed?

Otherwise: utility room, hobby room, and WC could be arranged differently so that the WC also gets a window. The bedroom can be designed differently with the dressing area, which would be more advantageous and it would be more practical to move the child's room to the back, and place something between parents and child. I find the closet arrangements in the hallway/antechamber/vestibule (why this unnecessary space?) illogical, and if at all, I would bring the hallway closet closer to the entrance. Otherwise, I find the area altogether too large and unnecessary. Also, going once around 360 degrees into the pantry seems unnecessarily complicated to me. The living room lacks a certain something. The kitchen is not work-friendly, that is, not ergonomic. edit: the entrance hall is supposed to be inviting through symmetry? I find that this has not been achieved: you simply look at closet surfaces.

I’m not quite following here: a newly designed entrance area – by the way, the example photo shows a completely different house type – would "shift the right area higher" and make the terrace "bigger" – but wouldn’t the opposite be the case? I’m also missing the orientation (the top of the plan is hardly north, since you usually wouldn’t roof a terrace there) – accordingly, it’s hardly possible to assess what larger windows in the dining area would do. Should

mean that every provider throws their own floor plan-proposal-price combination into the lottery drum (so it’s already comparing proverbial apples and oranges) and then also lets the pedal boat be surprised by the lake wind during the further refinement process? – passive requesting of offers is pointless and dangerous!
Ceterum censeo: the perceived work noise is significantly reduced when the boss’s spouse actively participates in the work

We get quotes based on the same floor plans. So no comparing apples and oranges. Then an Excel sheet is created and objectively evaluated based on various criteria: - materials - KFW 55 or higher - fixed price guarantee/construction time guarantee - etc. Part of the terrace (south) will be covered. That doesn’t mean the terrace can only be in the top right corner. we can only build 14m wide, rather narrower. Here it is about 12.5x12.5m. We will take a closer look at it.
