Here we go! After months of struggling with the city over the building permit, there is now apparently a partial building permit for the basement, and the groundworks have started! Hurray! Allegedly, the proper building permit is supposed to come this week as well, but well, the city has already promised that a few times in a similar way (but the weeks were surprisingly short), so I won’t believe it until I see it. However, we don’t have to pay anything until the full building permit is there.

Otherwise, the window costs us an arm and a leg, but apparently it will get an electric roller shutter like all the other windows, and the extra door + hallway planning will cost another three toes on top. (Total for both ~3.5k) But that’s how we’re doing it now. It also reinforces that we probably won’t make many other adjustments. The TV will probably get some “we’ll figure it out somehow” solution.
On the other hand, we were informed that we will probably get the photovoltaic preparation for free. It’s only “just” cables from the basement to under the roof, but still.

Have/ be plus participle are generally considered strong indicators of the perfect tense, esteemed polymath.

Guerrilla doesn’t sound good and is not sustainable in the long run and will not lead to success nationwide. If you want to set binding standards that everyone has to use, then it must be issued centrally by an official authority. And even if the participants and their teaching qualifications are known, I doubt that the material they provide automatically corresponds to the current scientific findings and is methodically perfect. You also cannot oblige anyone to use these materials as long as it is not from an official authority.

And thus, the effect achieved is certainly great for individuals because they benefit from the materials. For those who are the leading voices there, it boosts the ego enormously.

For the overall organization, the benefit is rather doubtful to detrimental because it will greatly hinder the implementation of a central organizational unit by the ministry of education. Keyword: incidents in change and acceptance management.

We briefly spoke yesterday with our perhaps future neighbor, who bought his plot in the adjacent new development area from the municipality with a 3-year building obligation. He wants a 160-170 m² city villa with two full floors and a basement plus a double garage. He is planning with several prefabricated house companies to get offers, and according to him, they all come to about €750,000-780,000 turnkey (excluding painting, flooring, and kitchen).

So far so "good," but this is causing him problems with the bank. The construction costs are too high for the value of the plot in the bank’s eyes; the security is lacking. Therefore, he does not yet know how far he will pursue his planning or whether he might even return the plot to the municipality.

We live very happily with a child "in the countryside" in a community of 2,200 inhabitants.
