Reichsbürger apparently refuse to pay taxes. That's what the so-called lying press says. Right at the top in big letters in Bild. And you seem to consume that. Now try to imagine how one can refuse to pay taxes in Germany. Income tax? VAT? Vehicle tax? How can I not pay those?

Reichsbürger refuse to recognize our state and its laws, including our tax law. It becomes absurd when state servants (e.g. police officers) are Reichsbürger, reject the state, and still accept payment from the state. However, I have a problem when individuals hoard weapons at home. The monopoly on violence rightfully belongs to the state.

I have served the German state for a long time! And also in war zones.
I pay my taxes (though not gladly).
