If the original poster had not revealed the facts bit by bit about what exactly is going on on his property, there might possibly have been more understanding for his concern.
There are indeed also (although humanly understandable) curious employees in our offices. A camera-monitored site of a weapons collector certainly arouses some information-seeking curiosity.
You certainly don’t get a red firearms license in passing; the approval authority surely will not take action here just because a building office employee’s curiosity is not casually satisfied.
Surely authorities are in contact with each other and surely they exchange information about "over"correct citizens, but it would be smarter if authorities acted overcorrectly, then they wouldn’t have to complain about overcorrect citizens.
