I also tried my hand at a plan again. Unfortunately, I can't think of much more :-( Shower walls here then with as much glass as possible, just as you have planned.

Unfortunately, we now had to make some concrete decisions; I therefore see no more possibilities for changes, at least not in the basic structure. As you saw in the other thread, communication is a bit difficult with us, and we had a favorable constellation where we could still get some additional changes through (e.g., a 3m lift-and-slide door instead of a 2m swing door in the living area) and a few other detail adjustments. For that, however, we had to be faster with the bathroom than I would have liked.

Of course, I’m still happy to look at other variants and maybe it will help someone later on. I just wanted to avoid you doing the work only for me to say afterwards, "I can’t implement that anyway."

Thank you! We also had a variant in that direction, of course I find the toilet area nicer. The distance between the shower/toilet and the sink is identical, and we then decided on the version with the wall on the left side of the room instead of the wall in front of the entrance door.

I sometimes really wonder how one can make these kinds of decisions in just over 48 hours. Bathroom, kitchen, storage positions were the most important points on the list about 12 years ago, when the planning of my "new" apartment began. And for each of these points, there were at least 2 to 5 variants that I seriously pondered back and forth over several days. Yes, I was lucky to have full decision control for a rental apartment. But 48 hours for a bathroom? Or kitchen? .. well, I had various times and had various options to play with. For now 10 years I have inhabited this mental playground and am glad that I thought through so many variants first. Because even today I would still choose exactly everything the same as about 10, almost 11 years ago.

so if the screed isn't in yet, almost everything is still possible - right?

Here is my bathroom in a very similar size, I even believe I still "owe" you the pictures ?
(The cleaning supplies were left by the cleaning lady yesterday ;))
The floor plan regarding window and door is almost exactly like yours, bathtub, shower (140x90), washbasin, toilet ... everything included ...
I like it very much and most visitors also like it so open and spacious (in relation to the size of the apartment)

It’s also something that really pisses me off. Especially since these are all topics we addressed weeks ago. It’s not just that with better communication we would have had more time (and ultimately probably better results), but that additional costs would not have been incurred, partly for us, but mainly for the developer. Overall, I still have to say that we are very satisfied with the results achieved so far. I now have the "final" floor plans of the three townhouse units. Ours has been massively changed, practically no wall remains where it was before, and it has been optimized according to our wishes. A great result. The other two have basically stayed the same and, in my opinion, have some flaws. But the buyer will just have to accept that.
