Hi Evelin,

thank you very much. I see it similarly to you regarding the bathtub and actually find it quite nice; my wife has more concerns about it. Entering the shower in this direction is certainly also an option. I will think it through again.

Unfortunately, the position of the toilet is hardly feasible there for the following reasons (as I understood it as a layman):
- The waste pipe would be in the way in the lower rooms at that position. On the left side of the room, we are quite flexible.
- The ventilation of the wastewater pipe towards the roof would have to be connected to the toilet. This could possibly be achieved by a floor-to-ceiling partition wall at the toilet, but the connection of the other sanitary facilities is probably difficult.

reflect, basins as many as you need

I find these privacy walls next to the toilet unattractive. Firstly, when I shower, bathe, or use the toilet in the bathroom, I only do so when I am alone.

Thanks for the input. After much puzzling, we have now initially settled on the following idea. I hope rough carvings don’t immediately catch anyone’s eye. I don’t yet know how we will design the shower walls, maybe something with glass in addition, maybe not or only at the top. I think the large window (even though it’s a north-facing window) should provide enough light downwards.

To be honest, I liked the company's proposal better. In your draft, the shower blocks the light from the toilet and bathtub, but you have the window right in front of the shower entrance. The first draft was more pleasing to me.

I would simply not extend the bathtub's front wall so far down; your cupboard fits there anyway.

Uh uh uh. Creepy. I hope you reconsider.

There are two reasons for this: people don’t like leaning over the bathtub to get to the window. Or climbing into it. And building regulations consider a bathtub as a climbing aid, so that the sill height cannot be maintained. Here you are not allowed to just fall to your death :)
