Hello, Since I am about to start building a house and am already thinking about the bathroom but have no idea about it, I am opening this thread. Just show what and how you have built your bathrooms and what they look like. Maybe one can pick up one thing or another!

Hi!

I have been looking for such a thread (and many others certainly too...)!

Many thanks to Mycraft for the great pictures - it would be fantastic if even more builders introduced their bathrooms here? We are still in planning, as soon as there are pictures (2017 ) we will of course post ours here as well.

I don't have any pictures of the guest bathroom in the basement on my phone yet.

Hello everyone,

I am happy to also sponsor a few pictures.

Info: Condominium, from the developer.

Before the purchase, they promised us that we could move the walls as we wanted, after the purchase it looked different, but we managed to assert ourselves with a lot of quarrels and disputes.

Since the developer companies did not match our "taste," the sanitary and tiling work was awarded to self-selected companies. Of course, this all became very expensive, but we are happy with the result every day.

At first, there was the idea, which turned a 3m bathroom into a 4.44m bathroom. Amateurish for the craftsmen, a milestone for us

Since the bathroom has no window, a glass door was quickly chosen. It really makes a difference. This then with a 1m clear passage (wheelchair accessible, you never know).

Since there is no window, where to put the fecal odor? In doing so, I came across the exhaust system from Grohe. Even after a night out at the Greek with Ouzo, the next person can come right after me. It works SUPER WELL!

Also visible here, the air filter (activated carbon) and the slot for the water tablets to produce blue toilet water.

I switch the bathroom fan (100m³/h) above the toilet on and off with a separate switch. Thus, nothing stands in the way of a quiet relaxing bath.

The shower holder/hose is, to my wife's dismay, perfect as a toilet paper holder

...here the niche, that really gave me a headache. Drywall and tile (grout) picture had to fit together. How to fiddle the lighting in, etc.?

We thought the bathtub would be simple. But after weeks of Saturday test lying at bathroom showrooms, we were at a loss. Somehow everything was uncomfortable. Then this model from the catalog: Statement by Duscholux - this bathtub is found nowhere in Germany!

The sanitary salesman said it was comfortable - according to his memory!!!

So we ordered it and have to say, the sense of space with armrests and widening foot space is great.

The sinks are pressed from marble powder and very heavy. But no danger of discoloration and great corners.

For the towels, retractable holders on the left and right
