Use Google. If I mention other forums, I get banned. There are even tools that help with calculations.

Regarding layering: excavator operators know what they're doing. We dug in sections on a similarly sized plot, laid the rings, and closed it again. And yes, 1.80m. At least where I was involved.

The wall heating was corrected today. Not nice, but hopefully effective. Now I have my 5cm installation spacing. From time to time the loops touch each other.

May I ask what surcharge your general contractor charged for the wall heating? And is it an interior or exterior wall? In the shower?

I think that I paid an extra 500-600€ from the standard general contractor to design based on heat load calculation. Installation according to calculation should have been cost-neutral and the responsibility of the general contractor, since he always sold it to me in the sales talks with a lead of 30°C, only to find out that he has zero knowledge of the technology.

Officially, the additional costs were only for the wall heating, which is quite cheeky considering one roll of pipe, a few brackets, and 2 hours of work. I think it is a mixed calculation. But I didn’t want to argue about it; the result was more important to me than haggling over 500€.

Such a 200m roll does not cost 170€.

Thank you for the information.

To me, it seems as if GUs and heating engineers are opposed to grinding on the wall.
What I am still missing is the good reason against this measure.
Did yours mention anything here?
Can tiles fall off the wall? Is it harder to bleed? Or is it simply not what is usually done?
