I would arrange the kitchen in an L shape, from door to door, and rotate the dining table 90 degrees accordingly, so everyone can look outside (halfway).

Do you really need a bathtub and two showers if there are two of you?

Hello night butterfly,

if you enter the utility room through the bathroom, you could save yourself the narrow hallway to the utility room and enlarge the guest bathroom. It's practical, then you move the laundry from the bathroom to the utility room and back to the dressing room. Otherwise, the path through the hallway, kitchen/dining area is really long.

I find the indentation by the terrace cozy; it certainly creates a snug corner. It also creates a comfortable living room. I would put the fireplace in the corner between the dining and living rooms, with a bench to sit on. I might hang the TV on the new fireplace wall and turn the sofa so that it doesn’t stand in front of both windows (see idea 2).

I have sketched two variants for you, which are mainly intended to relieve the kitchen-dining area. The second variant is much more open and thus gives additional space. But you would need a separate canopy there. The kitchen will definitely be much brighter here because you also use the light from the front door.

Maybe my ideas will give you a few new inspirations.

Thank you, and the corner in the dining area has already been criticized by the kitchen planner. It results from the covered terrace and therefore also the two windows in the bedroom. These are ultimately only for the visual appeal of the terrace, so as not to sit in front of a 4m long wall; a corner window in the bedroom could be the solution. The exit from the dining area will definitely be a lift-and-slide door, or would a glass folding wall be recommended instead? No additional exit is needed from the living room, but a lot of light should come in – therefore a floor-to-ceiling window is favored, and it can be fixed. The furniture was drawn by the construction company; initially, I didn’t care about the floor plan. I wasn’t aware, does the covered terrace or the narrowing really cost about 10,000 € plus the bedroom windows?

The bathroom and the tub there still need to be considered. The second shower toilet is for guests or elderly parents in need of care.

I have to rethink the alternative access to the technical room. Going through the bathroom doesn’t seem good to me at first, but maybe remove the hallway and move the kitchen over and put a door there.

What use is the small covered terrace area to you? It looks like it's too little for the furniture to stay dry. But it could still absorb too much light in the interior. Plus, it makes your dining area too cramped. I think a straight exterior wall is better and the roofing then with a glass roof and/or awning.
