May I see an example picture? By the way, don’t skimp on the post foundations or you’ll end up with a sail.
I attached a picture for you, I’m not exactly sure if that was what you were looking for.

These are the kinds of fence elements they should become. If we don’t keep it simple and instead plant vegetation. I’m currently not sure what we should do. Along the blue line. The terrace faces south. The slanted line in the south marks the beginning of a noise protection berm, piled up with earth and currently overgrown.
I don’t know how your winds or other activities are. Our neighbor put up a 25-meter wooden fence and used too little concrete. The fence looks like the Leaning Tower of Pisa .... after one year. The soil has shifted, wind, kids leaning on it, etc. Never save at the wrong end.
Okay, that’s good to know. Our neighbor who wanted to help us with the setup actually said we should use post anchors and “dig the hole a bit and pour in some concrete.” I think that wasn’t a good idea, and neither was it according to the hardware store employee.
In terms of cost, it certainly won’t be much cheaper at Hornbach either. Bondex glaze, H-profiles, and fast-setting cement also cost nearly 400 euros there. I don’t find 1,000 euros for 20m of fence generally too expensive. Especially if it’s really windy where you are, then you shouldn’t skimp on the point foundations.
Yes, it is pretty windy here, it’s northern Germany. It likes to storm now and then. That’s why I’m also considering whether to just drop the fence altogether. If it doesn’t bring me any noise protection advantage against bass anyway, then it’s not that important to me.
I find 40 kg per post very little... What is that supposed to hold? Standard foundation for wire mesh fencing: 30x30x60, that would be more like 3 bags per hole. My tip: Google the manufacturer’s installation instructions, then you can probably find out the foundation size.
Unfortunately, I don’t know the manufacturer of the element, but thanks for the tip, I can generally google for it. Maybe I’ll also find something on YouTube. Or I’ll just drop the whole fence idea out of fear of storms. A neighbor built such a thing, but only 4 elements, not 10, and it was blown away in the first storm. He had it concreted in but fastened to the house on one side, and judging by how it looked, it was ripped out there.
