We have pure aluminum windows. These were only installed in mid-April, so there is no long-term experience yet. Actually, I originally wanted wood-aluminum. However, since we planned a lot of wood in the interior design, the decision fell on full aluminum. Our profiles come from the Belgian manufacturer Aliplast. The windows look very elegant, although the profiles are not in the extra narrow class: flush on the outside, concealed hinges... Among other things, we have 2 large fixed glazing units (approx. 2400x2400), 2 triangular windows under the gable, and 2 lift-and-slide doors (3500x2400 and 5000x2400). Price-wise, aluminum is certainly quite a bit more expensive than PVC windows. To save myself the stress, I didn’t even ask about the price of plastic windows – for aluminum (complete), Beck&Heun shutter boxes, and shutters with Z-lamellae (on all windows) we paid around 50k – including installation.

I also have Aliplast on my radar. Which series do you have? I am currently considering the "Star75 hidden sash" or "Max Light Invisible" series. Without concrete prices yet, I estimate that the Star75 is more budget-friendly.

If you have the money, it's definitely a great thing. I would recommend PVC to normal people anytime and simply not plan any stress elements. You can see out of PVC just as well as out of aluminum, wood/aluminum, pure wood, or anything else. There are much more sensible features to invest your money in.

So

As far as I know, we have Aliplast Genesis75. I also wanted the MaxLight because I liked it better on the pictures on the internet. However, the manufacturer said that they do not have long-term references for the Max Light yet and that the profiles are not insulated as well as the others...

I think that is a very good price.
Without the sliding-and-tilt door we were at 77k€. Upstairs we have wood-aluminum in the basement.
Complete wood-aluminum would have come to about 85k€. The sliding-and-tilt door would have been another 4k€, at most.

Aluminum was slightly under 75k but without accessories.

May I ask you how many windows (pcs or sqm, whatever you know right now) those are? I just paid 21 TEUR (but installed them myself). That can't actually be just material, you must have much more....
