Hi,

um.... is the question whether 26% is too much serious?!? Please try to find a street with about 15% slope, you’ll hardly find one and for good reason! At 26% you will already have real problems with an empty wheelbarrow, better not even talk about a full one! Just off the top of my head, I’d say that more than 10% slope with a full wheelbarrow will really be difficult.

Best regards,

Andreas

Hello Andreas,

thank you very much for your comment.
Do I actually have to ask the neighbor if I place L stones at my boundary to raise my property partially?

So, to push a trailer up with a full wheelbarrow and then tip it off, we always lay a plank about 1.5-2m long. With some momentum, it goes up easily. But here the height difference is maybe 35cm. That would really be a struggle with your difference. Maybe build another staircase or a small homemade cargo lift.

Hmm...ok I realize that doesn’t help much. Unless I make a 10% slope, but then I have to build a 25m long ramp.... That costs a lot of money. I need to rethink that.... I would really like to have garbage bins, bicycles, etc. in the garden and then be able to go up with them.

I believe that storing trash bins and bicycles in the garden is simply not the right approach for the described property. It doesn't make sense; you need these things on ground level or at street level.
