How do you most quickly track down a hydraulic short circuit (short heating circuit causing the return flow to rise too quickly)? I want to take another look at it over the weekend, as it’s supposed to get colder and snow. Since my heat pump modulates, it always adjusts the temperature difference, so I have mostly had a rather small temperature difference (~3K), with a few exceptions. I hope that when the system is more heavily loaded, it will then operate with a larger temperature difference (e.g., 5K), which would make an overly hot return flow more noticeable more quickly? Or is that nonsense?
