Measure the IR thermometer and each heating circuit every 2 minutes, turn off the heat pump beforehand and let it cool down, in my case the temperatures only rise after 15 minutes.
This morning the heating measured an outside temperature of -4.5°C (Apple claims -6) and 30°C is going into the flow. The box is nicely frozen over. I wonder what temperature I should set the bivalence point to. The standard was something strange, like -7 or so. I set it to NAT.
Which heating curve are you currently using? Shift?
I wonder what temperature I should set the bivalence point to. The standard was something strange, like -7 or so. I set it to NAT once.
I would say it depends on how it is designed. If the maximum capacity of the heat pump is sufficient for NAT, there is no reason to set the bivalence point higher, right? Or do you even have reserves? The second system would be the heating rod, I assume. That is always worse than the heat pump.
