What flow temperatures are you currently running?

So my house does not have any insulation standard. It is insulated where it makes sense.
36 cm Poroton exterior walls with lime-cement plaster inside and outside, so that you end up with 40 cm wall thickness. Cold roof on top.
Insulation between rafters with 16 cm Styrofoam insulation. Ceilings to the attic with 20 cm rock wool.

Actually works quite well. 1000 L heating oil and about 6 solid cubic meters of wood are enough for me per year. Hot water runs on electricity. In the future with own solar system with 10 kW storage.

No triple glazing, no underfloor heating except in the bathroom. Instead, 2 chimneys in the house, a kitchen stove with wood, a fireplace in the living room with 18 kW, and an oil heating system. Hot water boiler.

I have already reduced the heating output of the heat pump via whisper mode, and as you already mentioned, I switch it off at night during the transition period. This results in a ratio of about 1.5 hours running time per compressor start. The compressor hysteresis is already set to max, as is the energy integral. Unfortunately, with my heat pump, you can only set a maximum of 120 minutes for the energy integral, while other Vaillant heat pump models apparently allow up to 180 minutes. When it gets around -5°C or below, it runs 24/7

Oh man, they're fiddling with all the adjustment screws at the same time again without knowing what effects that actually has. And "tilted windows" are taboo in the house and even more so in the new building. Ideally at design temperature!
