Terraces: How many and where?

The actual terrace is dominated by furniture, so you have to decide for yourself where you look from the inside or whether you want to look at a tree, shrubs, or the furniture.

I would like to thank you again for this hint. It may seem trivial to someone wiser than me, ;-) but until now I actually hadn’t had on my radar that we also want to look out at "beautiful nature" from the inside and not at garden furniture. From this perspective, I have to rethink everything. @: We have now only asked the excavation contractor to prepare the two parking spaces required by the authorities, but not yet any terrace(s). The outdoor and garden planning including terrace(s) needs more time. I am also no longer sure whether I want a larger terrace directly at the house or set up something terrace-like further back, towards the field. We can only decide that once we have lived in the house for a few months and have analyzed our habits and needs.
