We have received a statement where the partial payments before 01.07.2020 are clearly listed with 19% and the last payment with 16% as it was invoiced on 03.08. Despite the fact that we have a contract for work and the final delivery/completion of the purchased service took place and was accepted at the end of July.

Then simply correct it and transfer only the reduced amount and send your statement so that it is clear why you only transferred the reduced amount. Then you can go ahead and sue. You will lose that by a landslide.

If it can be simply transferred. Usually, you have to submit the (final) invoice to the financing bank, but the bank transfers the amount shown there. That means you would need the correct invoice beforehand or a flexible clerk at the bank and not an automated algorithm.

In case of emergency, Tipp-Ex on the invoice for the bank helps to prevent the wrong amount from being transferred accidentally.

Our bank advisor is initially so specific that he will only make a payment if the internal bank document is completed and signed by all borrowers. Unfortunately, I do not know to what extent the bank will give in, since the acceptance report naturally states that the financing company is instructed to make the payment.

We will keep at it and of course insist on carrying out the reduction of previous payments. Just like Heinz von Heiden does, for example.

You do that too. With the amount you consider correct. The bank is your service provider and not the service provider of the company. You only received the invoice after acceptance. If suddenly a 1 had slipped in at the front there, the bank would not have transferred one million just because it was recorded in the acceptance protocol.
