Well, I now have a firsthand report right in the neighborhood of my building site about Vodafone. Mostly in the evenings and on weekends, when the load of users naturally increases, it tends to go completely offline for 15-30 minutes. And shorter interruptions happen more frequently then. The internet is also generally full of negative reports, which I usually don't pay much attention to because of the effect that no one reports when everything is okay. So once again, thanks to for the positive report regarding Telekom Hybrid. With cable, there might possibly be the option to switch to a commercial tariff that guarantees a minimum bandwidth (basically a priority connection). Since I (not immediately, but as soon as possible) plan to use a lot of photovoltaic anyway, I will have to register a business anyway... Are there any other disadvantages with one or the other? I've heard that some multiplayer games don’t work with one or the other because of the protocols used or something? Does anyone know more about that?

I initially also had a hybrid router with us because there was "only" a 16,000 connection available. I need a good connection for my home office (which I have been using 4 days a week even before Corona). I was very satisfied with the performance of the connection. According to the speed test, I had 24,000 MBit/s available.

In the meantime, Telekom has upgraded, and we now have a 100,000 connection with 40,000 Mbit/s download. And I reach both values!

at our place Vodafone/Kabeldeutschland offers 1G in the building,
connection costs 1T€,
various tariffs available,
currently we use 1G for 40 € per month,
our direct neighbor has 6MB, all lines occupied, no chance for faster.
maybe only weekly availability checks help, and then act quickly

But none of you hybrid users happen to be gamers, right?
It's a bit important for our family.

Unfortunately, the expansion at my building plot will probably take a while. It’s not a new development area but a building gap in the former settlement area. Nothing has been renewed there in the last 20 years, so why now. At least on Telekom’s expansion plan map, there’s nothing to see there.
:(

And do you sometimes have connection drops in the evening or on weekends?

Well, connection drops can also happen when streaming non-linear TV...
