Telekom Hybrid or Vodafone Cable - Advantages & Disadvantages for Internet

And does dual stack provide a better connection? I admit, I only have rudimentary knowledge of network administration. I have now read about using IPv4 and 6 simultaneously, but what practical advantage does that actually bring? I mean, in everyday life?

VPN or other external access. With IPv6, more difficult to impossible...

I haven't read all 4 pages now, but I had Vodafone/ Kabel (also in Berlin, Southeast) and I have never had such bad internet in my life. Constant total failure, then super slow, especially around quitting time and main internet use at home (before Corona), it constantly stopped working. I have never ever ever been so annoyed by my internet and can only advise against it, unless something fundamental has been improved.

ohoh. Where I build is also east (not really south, but rather south than north). And what do you have now?

In Berlin, the experiences seem to be rather bad, we are now in Stuttgart where it used to be Unitymedia. You are also in BW, right? Maybe there are regional differences? From what I read here, it would almost be too risky for me to rely solely on Vodafone, not that you'd have to tear everything up again... Has anyone else had experiences in BW?
