Of course, you can have any connection installed. A Telekom connection is not necessarily linked to a contract. We chose Telekom and a local fiber optic connection. Since the fiber optic connection is free with a 2-year contract, we now have fiber optic for 2 years. The Telekom connection would not have been cheaper with a 2-year contract, so that issue is settled. We now have both connections and will probably switch back and forth every 2 years with a new customer bonus. Since both connections use different lines, there are no problems with "someone still using the old line."
