Thank you :) I’m curious now, the company is now working on the elevations (so far there were only floor plans, so I’m curious about that too) and especially a cost calculation. We would build with them at a fixed price, ideally I would also like to hand over the painting and flooring to them. It depends on what number ends up on the paper. And then it also depends on what the bank agrees to. We have a good income, but the house would be so rural that even with 220m² including garage, I don’t know if it can be financed with 480k at all. That would be my personal pain limit on how much money we would borrow. For the last loan, we got 420k for 150m² living space with significantly lower salaries. But the house was also a bit closer to a bigger city (Oldenburg). Down there, Kaiserslautern / Saarbrücken would be nearby. KL is roughly as far as OL here, but KL is definitely smaller than OL. The commute would be about 40 minutes here, in OL it’s more like 30 from us. Location makes a big difference in price, so I wonder if we would even get this sum financed so far out in the middle of nowhere.
