@ Thank you very much for your detailed response.

We have roughly the same ideas of a "Smart Home."

We want to make the following smart later:

Roller shutter control
Light control
Video intercom system and possibly a smart door lock, e.g., Nuki, and possibly fingerprint, e.g., Ekey

Probably window sensors (but if possible) replacing the handle, so no visible ones (with handle position detection)
and possibly heating controls (underfloor heating, our house is operated with district heating)
and outdoor cameras, mainly for deterrence.

I also want to be able to create automations and scenes myself and it should be intuitive to operate.

We want to avoid batteries or accumulators as much as possible (if it can't be helped, then that's how it is; then Eneloops will be used).

Outdoor cameras and video doorbells definitely have to be permanently connected to power.
Is a LAN cable at the doorbell dangerous because one can be attacked from outside via the LAN cable? (But I don't know much about this.)
If it is harmless, we will have one installed at the doorbell as well.

As soon as the video intercom system is installed, it is fixed in place so that no one can just "easily" access it. With the appropriate will and criminal energy, of course, anything can be achieved and attacked....

Yes, you could also take it down again and reach the LAN port (e.g. when we are on vacation)

Do most video doorbells have a LAN port? Eufy, Ring, Doorbird and others.

At what height should we have the conventional doorbell installed? 1.20m?

Sorry for the maybe silly question about the roller shutter control... but I do not know anything about it at all; however, it would be very interesting for our currently planned attic conversion for the sake of offspring.

That means I get a Shelly 2.5 and connect it behind our double switch from Jung and do the rest in the app?
...sounds almost too easy ;-) ...is there anything else you have to consider?

You should first clarify your priorities. On one hand, you are afraid that someone will come to your house with a laptop or similar, then mess with your doorbell and gain access to the house via the LAN port. On the other hand, you plan to use Nuki and similar devices…hmm they were recently as open as a barn door (not for the first time)…and external attacks are more likely to increase in the future.

The Shellys can't do much. What do you have in mind for the shutter control?

has already described and named quite a few things. Security and wifi cameras do not go together! Lan ports can be secured via certificates, etc. Up to mechanical separators. You just have to know a bit about it. Here we are no longer talking about a Fritzbox solution. Cameras are pretty much the last building block in a security concept. Before that, there are many other things to consider. What security class do your window frames and panes have? Wall structure? Locking system? Lighting? Motion and presence detectors… Monitoring the property boundaries, etc. Security needs are individual and subjective. Mostly the whole thing fails because of the budget. Anyone who wants to use a doorbell from Doorbird or Nest has already taken the wrong turn. Cameras belong on the Lan. Local and remote backup. Redundant power supplies for security technology… Depending on the camera, immediately a high three-digit amount or higher. Areas must overlap. Consider mounting heights and angles.
