That's how we have it with our Novelan as well. Actuators and heating motors are installed on every floor, but they are not used. The heating regulates the temperature throughout the whole house to a fixed value. It is very comfortable and cozy in every room.

With our sliding door, it is like this. The contact switches to open immediately when the handle is unlocked. Even if the sliding door doesn’t move a millimeter.
It’s the same with normal doors. Handle down = closed, everything else is open.

Yes, that is quite logical. With only one contact, you can only represent 1 and 0. Another one offers two more states. That is to say, the distinction between open but closed and completely or partially open.
