Really, Manfred Adams?

So carport instead of garage, and the separate bowling alley passage is taken care of?

No, I advocate for a garage location at the bottom right side of the plan... that way this passage doesn't arise at all.

Hello everyone,

we have been thinking over your suggestions and tried out various options, which I would like to attach here. But honestly, none of the new concepts really convince us. Even worse is that by now we are not even sure about our original draft...

I understand that purely from the house orientation it makes little sense to place the secondary rooms to the south and the living rooms rather to the north/west. Meanwhile, we have talked to many people about this. I will summarize the different opinions like this:
-the orientation of the rooms is not so crucial; much more important is the orientation of the terrace. The living rooms would also get enough light at the back of the house.
-an orientation of the living rooms towards the sun would mostly lead to them being shaded.

From this, two options have emerged for us. Either leave the garage on the left and try to mirror the WEK so that the kitchen and the dining area are more on the sunny side. This would still result in the same nice terrace area. However, the room behind the garage would probably have to be sacrificed to get more sun into the kitchen. Also, the stairs would have to be relocated, and in my opinion, this does not lead to a really coherent concept for the ground floor. (Variant 1-3)

Or put the garage on the right and mirror the entire house. (V4&5) Then the rooms nicely face the sunny side, but the house no longer appears so harmonious on the plot and it feels like we lose a lot of space. Also, the nice southwest terrace area becomes noticeably smaller. Furthermore, this would shift the house about ~3m to the left and therefore much closer to the neighbor than before. Since we do not know how the neighbor will build, this is naturally a corresponding risk game...

I look forward to your comments.

Me neither

Nope

Nope

Nope

I miss my mentioned option of placing the garage to the east, or whatever that may be at the bottom right, and opening the living rooms including the kitchen to the sun. I don't understand any of the quotes. Light inside the house, especially in the dark months, only comes from SE, S or SW. In summer it doesn't matter anyway, it's bright enough then. You can place terraces anywhere...

Hello, I am only allowed to build the garage within the building boundaries, right? With plan v4 I might be able to move the garage 1-2 meters further forward, but then the building boundary comes.

No, please read the state building code, normally garages are allowed to be built on the boundary... but the development plan tells you that exactly.
