Regarding the question about the square meters for living/dining/cooking: don’t get hung up on a number, it just has to be easily furnishable in the end. So always furnish all plans the way you would want to arrange them yourself and try it out at home with the measurements (if necessary, "recreate" walls with moving boxes) to get a feel for how you can move around in a room.
I know these are just tiny starting points, but here are a couple of thoughts off the top of my head:
Two considerations regarding the freezer:
Option 1: a decent freezer goes into the basement and only a fridge with a freezer compartment for herbs or similar, things you need more often, goes into the kitchen.
Option 2: you plan the pantry so that the door opening is in the middle of the long wall (and not, as previously, at the left end of the plan). We have it like that in the apartment, it works (if you don’t mind that some things disappear in the back corner between the fridge and the wall and you first have to rearrange to get all the way to the back) and also offers space. But of course this affects your kitchen!
And then the guest bathroom: ok, it is next to the main bathroom – but do you really want your guests to go into the rather private area with bedrooms and bathroom? And do you really want to always feel like you have to walk to the other end of the house when you want to use the toilet?
