... and actually one should also check the distance sofa/TV. It doesn’t look like a projector wall, but still about 650 cm. That is often too far. And sofa really in front of floor-to-ceiling windows?

Where should the terrace go and has the path kitchen/terrace already been checked?

View to the north ... when can you enjoy it ... rather occasionally during the day during various kitchen/eating activities or more when you have time for the sofa? In winter, rather then when it is dark, in summer you might spend the time on the north terrace as long as it is light, preferably with quick access to a chilled drink.

... since this is supposed to be a 2-person house, no reasons have been given for the basement, on the other hand storage space in the ground floor/upper floor was missed (even though there is the basement), now here is my attempt ;).

With exit towards terrace options in the west/north.
With living room and sofa by the window for the distant view.
With a staircase landing appropriate to the house size, not just squeezed in somewhere.
WITHOUT basement
With storage space under the stairs .. open part with custom pull-outs for shoes, closed part in the stair branch for vacuum cleaner, mop and the like.
2 m wardrobe
Space in the utility room for a freezer, additional storage shelf. Possibly for storing lawn mower or garden furniture in the back area. Space for a small workbench.

Garage extended to about 660 cm so that a larger car also fits in length. 5m external dimension as planned should not work there.

On the upper floor the upper half of the plan for sleeping, dressing, and bath. The bathroom is accessible from the hallway and has a huge shower. Also a bathtub under the skylight for star gazing, double washbasin.

Office with 2 desks and possibly a sofa bed for guests.

Large utility/storage room with washing machine/dryer.

Also drawn in the upper floor is a staircase so that things which otherwise aren’t accommodated might be stored in the attic. Even if it doesn’t have the best standing height with a 40° roof pitch. But it’s enough for storage.

Windows etc. as usual .. just an idea ;).

Instead of the shown wood stove, one could also choose a wall fireplace that is visible from both rooms and even close off the living area with sliding doors. This way, both parties could also receive independent visitors ... in the living area and in the cooking/dining area.

With that budget, maybe even feasible .... I would estimate such a fireplace at around 15,000 euros
