Yes, I am considering shortening the bathroom by 20 cm to have a 90 cm passage by the chimney... another location is difficult. How exactly would you move the walls on the upper floor? I am thinking about narrowing the windows on the west side on the upper floor to 1.13 to gain more space for furniture?!

So, when the floor is in, only about 198 cm left, and we just had that discussion here, knee wall 212 cm .. beams and ceiling will also be covered. So max. 195 cm height at the shower head ... then just imagine that. Everything will splash on the ceiling.

And why this corner in the house? Just extend the top outer line straight through, then you can also widen the hallway.

That's how it was in the green forum (Floor plan single-family house - Ground floor windows by Ronja123, on 12/21).

Yes, the chimney requires a replacement in the ridge beam, which I think is nonsense.

Honestly, I don’t see that as achieved yet.

Which were those? It felt to me like there was little movement?

A stove in the basement? – I more understood the point of a horse in the hallway.

So that not only Child 1 has sufficient space for cabinets behind the door.

Somehow this brings a reading tip to mind for you. Take a look in this thread:

Slightly more space behind the door in the bedroom -> partition wall towards the bottom of the plan. Mediate the size difference with the partition wall of the children's room. I would immediately look to integrate a built-in wardrobe into the partition wall for each room.

I would definitely not reduce the bathroom because of the chimney placement. You don't "make" a detour in a hallway just because a stupid chimney is wrongly positioned.

Whose planning is this anyway? Who made it? A chimney does not replace a wall, so the chimney on the ground floor does not work at all. Before an unreasonable effort is made with the bathroom planning because of the chimney and not because of the KS, I would simply move the chimney and also consider something like a laundry chute.

70cm clearance (WITHOUT PLASTER) is just not possible. The 1m wide corridor is already quite cozy. I will have to move the chimney or, even more radically, swap the staircase with the bathroom... that will cause a sleepless night today. Since the question about the carport between the entrance and the garage came up - so to speak also as a roof - how wide does the carport have to be to park the car between the entrance and the garage without it being tight?
