Even a classic Swedish stove is problematic in new buildings. Nowadays, people buy (and operate) stoves in such a way that they release as little heat as possible into the room because otherwise, due to the insulation, it gets way too hot.

I just took a look at Lohberger and picked out a 75cm wide model (LC 75A). It has a heating capacity of 6kw. This roughly corresponds to the heating power you need to comfortably warm the entire house including a filled bathtub in the middle of winter.

And you want to run such a little fire all year round at one spot in the house?
Is that supposed to be the only stove or is it just for occasional use as a hobby?

Where does the supply air for such a stove actually come from, or are they room-air independent? Otherwise, further measures for forced ventilation would be necessary.

I find the new ground floor layout (see green forum, "Grundriss Einfamilienhaus - Fenster EG" in Architektur allgemein from today 07:54) more successful - why don't you also post it here once.

So now, after a long time and much pondering, my hopefully almost finished plan. Many thanks to you. I was able to incorporate several ideas. By the way, the wood stove still has space by the chimney. It will probably be moved to the basement now. I hope my floor plan is no longer so far off....

Why is the exit to the outdoor seating area blocked by a sofa? It would make more sense to place the exit near the dining table.

How wide is the carport? Is there still enough space for the entrance to be placed there realistically?

Why does the house have the 50 cm offset?

It doesn’t seem to be a full upper floor. Knee wall? Check the shower in the upper floor to see if the shower head can be mounted high enough.

The chimney shaft on the upper floor is in a very inconvenient position; the hallway width will be reduced to about 70 cm there, and that is opposite the bathroom exit. And where is the fireplace supposed to go in the living room, or is the chimney shaft only there for the wood stove in the basement? What is it supposed to do in the basement?

There does seem to be a basement, so I consider a real pantry rather superfluous. The question is what should go in there. Why the offset in the ground floor hallway?

The floor plan is designed so that I can still separate the living room. There will also be a lintel directly from the hallway into the living room.

The knee wall is 2.12 without floor build-up. That should be enough for the shower, right?

The pantry is also to be used for the vacuum cleaner, etc.

Yes, I also find the 70cm in front of the bathroom door bad. Therefore, I am considering shortening the bathroom by 20 cm... but I am unsure about the arrangement in the bathroom. Alternative ideas?

The sofa will of course go on the east wall.
Regarding the separation of the living room, we wanted a door there and not just a window.

The carport is 3.75. I was told that this is enough for the car + entrance.

I currently use my wood stove for baking and would like to continue doing so... due to space reasons, it may possibly go in the basement.

Best regards

The closet space in the bedroom would, in my opinion, be far too little for a married couple. Additionally, one also stores bed and possibly table linen in there. I would therefore modify the walls of the other rooms a bit so that a properly long wardrobe fits behind the door. I really like the bathroom for that. I would only move the door further to the right and have it swing the other way. The chimney absolutely does not work there. The corridor width is not sufficient for that.
