How is this draft? I would like to present it to the construction company if you don't have many objections. :)

To understand the intuition behind the floor plan, a brief explanation: The rooms have become overall more compact in my opinion, but on the other hand more spacious.

We would place the dining area in the west section so that when the entire family (currently 17 adults + 9 children) comes together, the tables can theoretically be set up lengthwise (6m+). Otherwise, I went a bit wider to save some length. The hallway is still large, but no longer huge.

We don't yet know whether it should have a gable roof or a shed roof. We would decide that based on conversations and the drawings (then we will see how much space each roof provides).

Are the windows arranged sensibly? Personally, I’m not entirely happy with the arrangement of the living room windows, but my wife wants it that way.^^

As usual, criticism and suggestions for improvement are welcome. But I wouldn’t mind a "like", since I personally already like this floor plan quite a lot. :)

Unfortunately, I don't find it very successful. The entire visit has to pass through the private area to get to the living room. That is actually very unusual and impractical, especially regarding noise and sound when guests are there and the kids are supposed to sleep or something. I would say it is due to the poorly placed staircase! But I'm just an amateur... :o Haven't you found anything nice and ready on the internet that just needs to be adjusted? I have had much better experiences with that. Architects would probably have a better view on that anyway.

I don't like it either. Staircase misplaced, you run into a wall at the entrance, then a living corridor with bedrooms, then the living area. Kitchen is way too far from the entrance and utility room. And again a cramped bathroom, which is supposed to serve the family. The living area doesn't get the western sun at all :(

The square meter specifications are also just meaningless. Here you took the external dimensions. But you still have walls, and they also take up a bit of space. You should therefore assume that all the rooms will be smaller.

I also don't think it's nice for the children to get up right next to the front door. Besides, all doors open towards the hallway. If someone walks through, they always have to expect to get hit by the door.

I find the windows themselves much too small. It’s going to be a pretty dark place - especially in the living room.

Disillusionment is setting in. -.-

The windows should of course meet the standard and not be those measly ones that I sketched in quickly. As I said, I am not satisfied with that either. The last word has not been spoken on that. For the staircase, we thought that a cupboard would be placed against the wall where guests can undress right away. The exterior dimensions will still change, we are aware of that. This is just meant to serve as some orientation. The bathroom is intended for us parents. As long as the kids are small, they will of course bathe there, but that will decrease with age. We would only get the west sun if the living room is spread over the entire south area.

I will get back to you in due course if I can present something new to you. Further criticism is still welcome.
