In the topic: "Show off your facade colors" I would have expected more pictures.

For me, there are some aspects regarding house painting that play a role.
Our house was white, with brown door and window frames.
Where we changed something, we painted it - especially the brown edges - white and I noticed how practical it is to have the paint easily and quickly available.
Painting the whole house is too expensive for us at the moment.
Personally, I would like a light orange as a color.
I always call it "peach blossom," as Goethe called it, and said that it is THE color that all people find beautiful.
Whether that is really the case, I don’t know, but my wife says the insects would definitely like it too.
Of course, it also matters how the houses in the neighborhood look - and especially how the closest neighbors have decided.
Then it’s interesting whether you are a cautious person who wants to fit in with the surroundings, or more of a daredevil who sometimes clashes with people to assert their will.
If someone wants to stand out, it makes a difference whether that is meant against or for the neighbors.
Also: "just don’t stand out" is, in my eyes, a legitimate behavior.
What I mean is: there is no "objective" right or wrong.
Sometimes it would be good if a "bit of momentum" comes to the street, sometimes that might above all cause discord.
As different as the people who live somewhere.
Our red canopy (made from a truck tarp) is a bit "too loud" for me, but there was no foil with - in my eyes - a better color.
Here in the area, almost all houses are white, and I wouldn’t mind a bit of color - I could also say: good.
We are lucky and almost only nice people live around us.
If money and scaffolding are ever available, I could well imagine a "pleasant" color, but it should rather lift the good mood than worsen it :)
