Show me your facade colors!

I think it was rather this post: The one from May can't be it, since we picked the color in March. We naïvely thought the story would be finished in April...

I had thought about that too, but I'm afraid it clashes with the plants, since that's a different shade of green. If you plant them in front of the house.

We didn’t think about something like that at all. But luckily plants aren’t all the same green, and with us it’s supposed to be a bit more colorful anyway.

I also believe that I was rather responding to the window discussion (color, etc.) initiated by ;)

It's always wild when you look back so far in the thread and remember everything you thought about. Today I've already gotten so used to how it turned out, it's hardly imaginable that we once considered alternatives. :D

I think it's a pity that we humans (myself included) are not a bit braver. For some inexplicable reason, I still believe that I will one day build my own little house just for myself (maybe with a dog). I will make it bright and colorful. I don't know why, but vibrant colors almost always bring me a little joy. Sometimes I make fun of a bright blue or red house when I see one, but I still have to smile.

Do you think there is a lack of courage that houses are often white or in more subdued colors? That never occurred to me before. For me, it's definitely a matter of preference, for example. I also never liked colorful hair because I never liked the idea of it on myself. It's similar for me with more striking house colors. I think a Rococo palace in pink is beautiful, but I would never paint my house pink because I don't like it and I would find it totally inappropriate stylistically.

I really like the colors of and . The green will look really good with the planting, I suspect that will enhance the effect. We have a completely plain boring white on the facade, my wish would be like Steffi’s, including the trims and shutters, because I don’t dare to go for a truly "colorful" paint. Like , I also dream of my little house, where I can suddenly express myself and design everything according to my wishes, regardless of what others think.
