Generally: Clinker bricks, pilasters, and other elements in white/beige/grey can certainly make a striking color more palatable. There is a reason why we wanted Schönbrunner Yellow, and when you look at the original in nature, it is also harmonious. But then we looked at our construction plan and, hm, well, not everything stylistically fits together. Therefore: No clinker bricks, no pilasters, no medieval fortress look. I also know a house in the middle of Franconia that we always called "Peppermint Petty's House" because it was really bright mint green, amidst half-timbered houses. You have to like that – even if you don’t see it from the outside as often as, for example, the neighbor across the street.
