A hint, a hint... and that with an emotional reaction
can you please elaborate a bit: do you like it, do you not like it? Did you want a dressing room? Do you want a kitchen like this? Or with an island instead? Why a children’s room if there are none?
Is it a developer who is inflexible and expensive with changes and is also building the second half, or is it your construction company? Is it a new development area with front parking spaces or will there be a garage somewhere? Can you still move the windows? How much land is left on the east side? Could you make a kitchen exit there?
On the whole we like it very much. The closer we get to the final decision, however, doubts arise as to whether we are doing everything right. Is this or that wall necessary, would it be better if... should we install the second shower downstairs in the WC or not? You probably know what I mean... this is the first house we are building, so here is the question to the group, since you have more experience than we do.
Regarding your questions:
a dressing room is quite practical, isn’t it? Otherwise everywhere cupboards in the bedroom. We are still considering the kitchen. Is it not too small, should we open it up to the living room or better not?
Children’s rooms are planned because of a strong desire for children; if unfulfilled it will become an office and a guest room. We do want three bedrooms, though.
The construction company is Heinz von Heiden, they respond to our change requests, also building the second semi-detached half.
The garage is planned on the east side, I have attached the development plan, not a new development area. Until we build the garage, two parking spaces are planned.
Do you mean having the exit to the east would be good? Wouldn’t that mean even less space for built-in cupboards etc.? Our half is the one with the single garage.
