How long I struggled with the selection of the windows.

We finally decided on white glazed wood-aluminum windows on the inside. On the outside, they are gray! Slightly browner than RAL 7016. Please be sure to look at such a window in person; with this combination, we didn’t consider that you can still see a large frame portion from the outside when looking from inside. I often thought that I could have just ordered the windows completely gray, or even black, since you also see a lot of the black sealing.

Why we chose white on the inside was that we unfortunately have quite thick profiles, and the color share in the room was then too much for me. Especially combined with furniture and other surfaces, you are then quite limited in color. If our frame share had been smaller, we would certainly have chosen gray on the inside. See the windows from or , unfortunately such windows were not within our budget.

In the pictures, the textile screens are closed

Ditto, I would do the same for the next house.

But exactly this attention to detail is what makes it coherent in the end. It has nothing to do with design, money, or taste, but you can feel when it’s harmonious!

Wood was also under consideration for us, but I felt much more restricted with furniture and decor. I don't like it when too many different types of wood appear in one room. With floor and windows, I would have been too limited. I'm more comfortable with anthracite. But that's like everything – ultimately a matter of taste.

Oh Solveigh, just ask the ship captain down there if it also bothers him when he passes your house and looks up at you (quote from my then construction company on my many worries). You have a super-duper wonderful house with so many tasteful details; if it bothers you too much, I’ll just put up with it and move in there. You will always find something, but then you can correct it next time. When I see your house pictures, I always see the whole room or the whole house, and they are pictures I always like to look at. If the windows become unbearable, I’d order a pallet of sparkling wine and fill the bathtub with it. Windows or not... super great house!!!

Ultimately, as you can see from the positive response and the number of likes on the pictures shown, the house, the bedroom as well as the window colors including the textile screens have become pretty "gei*".

There are certainly not few who would move in there immediately if it were possible. I count myself among them

I still have one question: Unfortunately, I couldn't find your bathtub filler faucet. I would be interested in the manufacturer and model of both the bathtub and the faucet. A picture of them, of course, would also be nice. Because I am still considering installing a freestanding bathtub.
