I find it a bit questionable that you feel the need to write snappy comments in almost every one of my threads and snap at me and other users... but okay, if it makes you happy :-D

Update: I was at Solar Installer 1 today and talked to him about the offer. He is recalculating it with 1 inverter and removing SolarEdge. I’ll keep you posted.

I can't quite imagine what you mean by "pointless wasting"? The 2000 kWh that went into the e-car instead of filling up with gasoline or diesel? The kWh that went into the heat pump to run hot water and heating? (instead of gas, oil, pellets, etc.) Refrigerator, freezer, lights, well, in my opinion not entirely pointless either - right? With the original poster it might be similar, only without BEV but with more people? A family needs about 2500-4000 kWh per year for household electricity, the rest comes together as described above, and above all, the 10,000 you put out there are not yet certain. Take your apparently bad mood out somewhere else ...

Hello! That was quick. Solar installer 1 has sent a new offer.

Inverter: 1 x Fronius Symo Gen24 10.0 Plus
Modules: 42 x Q-Cells Q-Peak 410Wp

17.22 kWp (according to the solar installer, maximum configuration with one inverter) for €24,419 --> €1,418 net

Alternatively, he offers the following storage systems:

HVS 5.1 for €3999 net or HVS 10.2 for €7299 net.

What do you think? I would probably order the photovoltaic system like this for sure. Should I also get the 5 kW storage?

Best regards, Elias

Of course, it also depends on the financial resources, but personally I would go for the 10kWh battery. (even though there will be voices right away who have a completely different opinion :D) In my opinion, the price is "okay". Whether it pays off over the runtime you will only see then. It entirely depends on how electricity prices develop. If they rise significantly in the next few years, it can pay off; if they possibly drop a bit again, it might not pay off. I would take the risk. :p

I find the offer good, the Fronius goes up to 15KWp, which you probably won't reach with the roof coverage.

The BYD HVS was my desired storage, unfortunately not in the program of our "solarteur." I would take that too (the 10.2 KWh, and yes, calculated commercially, the payback will probably be tight) but the good feeling of higher autonomy and then not drawing grid power for days or even weeks is also worth something ;)

If the delivery time is right now, close the deal quickly. Seems to me currently the fairest offer in the forum for weeks :D

You cannot operate the inverter at the system. Sorry, but I would look for a solar technician who knows what they're doing or seek advice elsewhere.
