4000 kWh for 2 "noses" is definitely (too) much.

But I also need almost that much - also with home office and two computers, waterbed, daily cooking, etc. All electrical devices are new and efficient, all lamps are LED.

That was the general consensus when I had the consumption discussed here as well… I even did a test, during the vacation period left everything as usual and went away: 10 kWh consumption daily…. Then turned off everything that could be turned off (3 TVs, both PCs, printer, fully automatic machine) then we were at 3 kWh…. but that’s of course now without washing, cooking, dishwasher which would run daily when we are there. So I estimate the 2 laptops each with separate screen and the 2 TVs in the basement contribute quite a bit but with saving I’m already at 1080 kWh operation when I’m not home at all…. infrared is on about one hour per week on average… ventilation system is the Zehnder 350 running all day of course. If you have tips, always welcome…

If I had any, I wouldn’t consume so much electricity. One could drive to the office every day – but then I’d be using electricity/diesel for over 80km. Also not sensible. Or give up the waterbed – but that’s no fun either. Or give up TV and only read. Or shop daily and always cook fresh – then the fridge (or the freezer chest) could go. None of this makes sense. So I can live with the consumption (especially with photovoltaics).

Hello again everyone, so, since I no longer feel good about the first solar installer with his strange 10 kW inverter, I am now leaning more towards solar installer 2. I just spoke to him on the phone; although he does not yet have any references on the website, he has already installed several systems (he only got his master craftsman certificate last year) and I also know two others from the building area who recommend him. And he is really very cheap. Here again are the technical details: - 20.9 kWp - 51 x JinkoSolar solar module Tiger NE HC N-Type black JKM410N-54HL4-B - 2 x SMA inverter STP10.0-3SE-40 - 1 x SMA Sunny Home Manager HM-20 - I will leave out the other materials, but all installation, planning, and commissioning services are also included here - Costs: €25,570 net, therefore €1,223 I just want to make sure again that everything fits or if there is any "problem" hidden that I don't see with my dangerous half-knowledge ^^ I think the 2 inverters fit, the modules too. Anything else I should pay attention to? Many thanks in advance!
