 That means in degrees Celsius?

The hot surface of the shading doesn't really affect the glass behind it.
The question is how the shading (venetian blind/roller shutter) withstands the temperature or reacts to these high temperatures.

Do you think a manufacturer of shading solutions wouldn't have thought about what happens when the sun (!) shines on shading (!)? Dark venetian blinds are not exactly an invention of the average RAL7016 standard builders of recent years. Definitely, the air between a dark slat compared to a white slat and the window becomes noticeably warmer because the slat also radiates towards the window (if metal). However, I consider it unlikely that THIS then leads to noticeable temperature increases INSIDE the house. Especially since a slight tilting of the slats, as already mentioned, still ensures sun protection and the air behind the slats does not stagnate.

That means about 23-24 degrees. I find that okay in summer.

I would also find that okay, but wait and see what happens if it is hot for a longer period. Currently, we are also still at 22, 23 degrees, but eventually that will go up as well. Otherwise, I remember that at least the window and shutter supplier pointed out that dark windows and shutters react more easily to heat. That is why they only offer certain shades as an aluminum variant.

The first heatwave is coming in the next few days, and with it the first real test. I'm curious.

We also have windows, roller shutters, front door, etc. in anthracite, and it is noticeably warmer (=hot) from the outside than the light-colored ones we had before. However, I haven't been able to notice any difference inside the house so far.

I would like to give two suggestions:

- If the front door gets a lot of sun, it’s better to choose a light color. Ours is in the southwest, and when the sun really beats down on it, you should avoid touching anything except the handle (brushed stainless steel)...

- We have [Raffstores], or the slats, in silver. The advantage is that light is better reflected into the house even when the slats are tilted. Furthermore, I would avoid anthracite-colored slats if you don’t want to clean them constantly... dust, pollen, and other dirt show up immediately.
