Well, we just moved in in August, it's still a construction site outside and to be honest, I have cleaned the window frames and already cursed the anthracite a bit, but not the blinds yet.

The reason for the contrast variant was also that the lighter tone does not heat up as much on the south side. This applies especially to the garage door, where there might possibly be problems with opening. Visually, we also like the contrast.

Are these "standard" venetian blinds or some special ones? They do have guide rails on the sides. How wind-resistant are they?

Standard at the bottom (with a normal venetian blind box and guide rails), at the top inclined venetian blinds (also a normal venetian blind box, but with rope guides - guide rails are not possible). Uniform normal slats. Wind sensors and central control are recommended (or in my view necessary). Claimed wind resistance up to 6 or 7 wind force levels - usually sufficient for the area here, but I would not recommend it for mountain peaks or the North Sea coast. Of course, there is no long-term experience yet.
