125sqm plus basement (technology + storage + hobby) is not so bad now. Just walk through the current new housing developments, the 0-8-15 city villa with 120sqm including technology room is encountered more often nowadays than you might think. You can be happy in it too. That there are windows only at the front and back is inherent to the nature of a terraced house, and that automatically results in the tube-like layout, because all rooms are supposed to have daylight. What bothers me (as mentioned earlier) is the unchangeable appearance/layout. When you build, you want to realize yourself, emphasize things that are important to you, reduce unimportant features. That’s how individuality arises. But that doesn’t work with these terraced houses; you take it as it is, as if you were just renting. Even if you want to change only the facade color, the community has to agree.
