Hello Nixwill, I am happy to attach three photos: 1. Of the roof covering in February 2018: 2. In October 2019 (our general contractor at that time commissioned a drone flight for advertising purposes and for his 2020 calendar): 3. Currently, August 2021 – but due to the low pitch, you can't see much of the roof: 3 1/2 years after covering, the roof still looks like new. It also withstood severe autumn storms and if one or the other bird left something behind, it was all washed away very well by the rain. So we are very satisfied with the roof. Best regards Axel

WOW!!! I don't just like the roof here!! You have a super great house! I'm impressed!! The roof tiles are actually just a minor thing here, but it's the topic after all :). Also thanks for the feedback on cleanliness... You don't have your own drone pictures, do you? ;)

The Sigma roof tiles are now, I believe, settled, they look very harmonious :). I'll order some samples to decide, seems quite easy on Nelskamp's homepage, also because of the color.

The color for you is granite, matches well with the windows! I'm wondering if I dare go for true black. Our windows will probably be deep black as well, but the development plan contains the following text:
Farbgebung der Dächer der Hauptgebäude: Die geneigten Dachflächen sind mit kleinfor- matigen (Ziegelgröße), naturroten bis rotbraunen oder anthrazitfarbenen Dachdeckungs- elementen einzudecken oder zu begrünen. Photovoltaik-Anlagen sind allgemein zulässig.
Now I'm not sure if black falls under the term "anthracite colored"? On the other hand, I just read today that you are allowed to adapt your roof tiles to the photovoltaic color, even if the development plan probably doesn't allow it.

Does anyone here perhaps have a hint?

Thank you for the compliment. We also planned for quite a long time until everything turned out like this. And sorry, I don’t have any drone pictures of my own. But we can actually get a very good view of the roof from the roof terrace. By the way: The exact designation of the roof tiles is Nelskamp Sigma Granit 433 Longlife matt. And that fits wonderfully with the window frames, which are not – as is often the case – RAL 7016, but “Metbrush anthracite 67 Premium”. Well, anthracite is almost black. Pure black has a light reflectance value of 0 and RAL 7016 is at 8 ...

Maybe one could take some nice pictures of the roof and the tiles from there sometime :), I would be happy, but no pressure because of it. Unfortunately, I don’t understand what the daylight factor means.

Let's see what the time and the weather allow in the next few days ... Well, pure white has 100, pure black 0. By the way, the question about the light reference value is also interesting when it comes to house painting. Many companies charge an extra fee from a certain limit because more color pigments come into play then ...
