Keep the invoice for [Quark], because it only applies to the construction phase. After that, you can ventilate however you want. I’ll skip the counter calculation with 0x window opening and electricity costs + acquisition costs of the ventilation system.

I don't consider this calculation nonsense now. There is some truth in it, or are all your windows permanently just tilted open? In the morning and evening, you will have to go through the motions (opening and closing) anyway. We are also planning with a ventilation system because we are not the ones who have a "green thumb" for ventilating. Currently, we live in an apartment that was completely renovated in 2010 except for the shell. It is so airtight that we have problems with humidity and can't keep up with ventilating.

It is hard to imagine that you can ventilate without opening a window...

Well, initially I don’t have to ventilate. The house doesn’t break because of that. So theoretically zero. But it could happen that you then rarely get visitors.

In my opinion, the lobby of the ZWB has done a thorough job. Unfortunately, I can’t understand the hype around it. It remains a "nice to have" but works wonderfully without it. I don’t know any homeowner who doesn’t have the terrace door open permanently in the summer. Even in the rain we enjoy the open doors. At night in the bedroom, my window is always open anyway. And in winter I ventilate when I feel it’s necessary. But that’s not nearly every day – especially since we’re not at home during the week anyway. So I get by well in winter with 2-3 times a week of throwing the window wide open.

Even with a ventilation system I would want to throw open the windows and doors. So – a system would be pointless. For many though indispensable – so to each their own.
