I would rather say October to April. But since I also don't have to (cold) ventilate, I can go a bit longer without heating!
The question is how long can I compensate for these ventilation losses by heating until I recoup the investment in the "ventilation system." And it has been mentioned several times in the forum that this investment in a ventilation system will probably never pay off in €, as long as I compensate by manual ventilation. If the house molds and I have to carry out extensive renovations, then the investment is, of course, quickly recouped. Otherwise, it is purely a gain in comfort.
We will also not install a controlled residential ventilation system in our house. Better a house without controlled residential ventilation than no house at all.
Although we will probably have to adjust quite a lot to ventilate that often. In our current apartment, the heat goes away even without ventilating, and depending on the weather, more moisture comes in when ventilating than goes out. So, we ventilate rather little.
