You only *think* you know more!
We were not discussing the profitability of photovoltaic systems, but rather their storage.
And my point has been from the beginning that it does not pay off or only very late!
I analogized it to the automobile and conveyed the equivalence of meaningfulness.
I am aware that one must not criticize the German’s favorite child; the holy grail must remain untouched!
Sorry, but here I also have to point out that this comparison is more than nonsensical. Since I depend on a car, the ROI is reached very quickly because without the car I could not do my job. As a result, I would probably earn much less/retrieve less income within town and property would be out of reach. A battery storage is not necessarily required nor does it have even remotely such a benefit as a motor vehicle.
However, overall I agree with you. I also only buy used cars because I absolutely refuse to shell out €50,000 for something that loses 20% of its value the moment it’s registered. My car is 17 years old and runs on LPG.
I would also like to be self-sufficient, but unfortunately the prices currently asked are not easily affordable for everyone.
To stay on topic: a controlled residential ventilation system was also not feasible for me because I preferred to borrow less money.
Therefore, I cannot take advantage of the benefits [emoji12]
