Who could resist commenting on the grades? Of course, they have no significance, as several people have already noticed while reading here.

Regarding the other question: we have windows everywhere that can be opened. Escape route and then they can be cleaned more easily.

Fixed glazing is not much cheaper either, as one might hope. And you should be able to clean windows upstairs without risking your life. Using a ladder is annoying and not possible everywhere.

You probably only miss the controlled residential ventilation once you have or have had one. But to have to ventilate less, I certainly wouldn’t get one, because we don’t notice it in everyday life at all. Do you (non-controlled residential ventilation owners with more than 2 years after the construction phase) ventilate the house regularly? We don’t at all – not consciously. It’s more like we spontaneously throw open the windows because the cat has farted or something.

What are windows and patio doors for? I don’t know how others plan controlled residential ventilation and windows in relation to each other – for us, not at all. We have windows because of the airy and spacious appearance. Furthermore, because of the light and so that we can go out into the garden from every corner of the house. The controlled residential ventilation runs continuously and ensures good air in the background. I don’t know the obligation to use a window for ventilation. In summer, twice I had the feeling that the controlled residential ventilation was off (stifling humid sunny weather/level too low). It wasn’t the smell, it was a strange suffocating climate, similar to just turning off the ventilation in a car.

Yes, that is not worth it; according to statistics, there is a failure here about every 15 years. Also, solar is still too expensive. Our consumption is too low for that, and when heating season is on, it is too dark during the day. However, I am waiting for it to become economical thanks to electric vehicle battery recycling and a larger market, because in terms of materials, batteries are still not very ecological. Feeding electricity into the grid would be better for me.
