Thank you very much for your feedback!
I’ll keep the topic of the shower in mind.
Our architect planned a "privacy wall" in front of the toilet We actually didn’t think the idea was bad at all. But the idea still needs to mature.
We will adjust the window in the office. That’s really a good idea.
In our first draft, there was still an exit to the terrace through the kitchen. My wife currently prefers a U-shaped kitchen. But that is not fixed yet.
I’ll pass on your comment about the fireplace to our architect.
I still have a few questions.
At the moment, we have planned a roof pitch of 30° and 38°, but we still have the option to change the pitch. Anything between 20° and 45° is possible (according to the development plan). From your point of view, does it make sense to change the roof pitch, for example to 25° and 33°, in order to increase the knee wall? Technically, that’s not a problem. Does the appearance of the building suffer because of it? When I walk through the new development areas, I very often see relatively flat roofs.
The clear room height on the ground floor/upper floor is 2.51 m. In the basement, 2.39 m. Is that sufficient? We have planned an office and a hobby room in the basement.
Do you also have an opinion on skylights? I’m not quite sure if it will be bright enough in the rooms on the upper floor. On the other hand, the windows are already 1.53 m wide.
Thank you very much for your answers!
If I may, I would like to add another question.
Would you replace the windows in the dining room with sliding doors, or would that leave too little space for furniture? Enough questions for today!
The forum is really very helpful! Thanks for your answers!
